Train at the Epona Equine Reiki Centre
The Equine Reiki courses are presented by Sarah Berrisford, BHS Stage 3, Professional Horse Trainer and Reiki Master/ Teacher.
The Equine Reiki Courses are open to anyone who has completed Reiki First Degree (Shoden) and above. There are currently three Equine Reiki Courses available: The Basic Equine Reiki Course, the Advanced Equine Reiki Course, and the Equine Reiki Master Practitioner course. One must complete the Basic Course before going on to the Advanced, and complete the Advanced course before moving on to the Master Practitioner course.
The courses include an Intuitive Horsemanship factor to them, and because of this, are open to anyone from equine or non-equine backgrounds. This helps people to feel confident that they know how to control the horse using their energy and body language.
Each course is one day long; from 10:00am to between 4.30 and 5.00pm. Courses are usually run on a Sunday.
We have a fabulous set up here in Lincolnshire, using a selection of equines from our stud, training yard and livery. This variety of horses makes our equine course available to anyone, inexperienced or professional, who wishes to learn and practice the techniques that I have found most appropriate when working with Reiki on horses.
Due to the different array of horses we have available for you to work on, each of you will have the chance to work 1:1 with a horse, to give a full Equine Reiki treatment and begin to explore the wonderful things Reiki can do for horses.
The ‘Basic Equine Reiki Course’ consists of one full day of practical work, plus a manual which will be sent to you before you attend the course. There will be three Reiju Empowerments, a short safety demonstration and the rest of the course consists of practical Equine Reiki.
The ‘Advanced Equine Reiki Course’ is the next step in using Reiki with horses. Although the Basic course covers everything that one needs, to work for themselves or professionally on horses, the Advanced course is for people wishing to learn more techniques and further themselves in the field of Equine Reiki. The Advanced course consists of one full day, plus a manual that will be sent to you prior to the course date, which will cover everything in the course to leave you feeling confident when you attend on the course date.
On completion students with Reiki First Degree plus Equine Reiki can work on their own horses. Students with Reiki Second Degree plus Equine Reiki could work on the public’s horses, providing they have the appropriate insurance.
