If you type the word 'Reiki' into your search engine, you are presented with gazillions of sites to look at, so where on earth do you start, and how do you tell the good sites from the not-so-good ones?

Hopefully the links about Reiki that you will find below will start you off on the right lines, because I have listed a few quality sites providing a lot of information about Reiki, its background and history and its effects, and some interesting other stuff too.

I have tried to make this links page as wide as I can in terms of what it covers, so I have included links to suppliers of incense, treatment tables, music CDs, insurance and Buddha statues, as well as more business-orientated links like companies who can supply you with business cards, or print t-shirts and leaflets for you. I have also included links to sites that provide information about Japanese Reiki, Shintoism, Japanese Buddhism, Japanese history... in fact anything I could think of that seemed to be useful or interesting information for people involved in Reiki!

International Center for Reiki Training
Loads of pages concerning all aspects of Reiki. William Rand's site is a good introduction for people new to Reiki, who want to know What? Who? When? Why? How? The site deals with Western-style "Mrs Takata" Reiki, basically.

The Reiki Threshold
A wealth of information about Reiki in general, and about Japanese Reiki techniques taught by Hiroshi Doi and some other Japanese teachers, provided by my friend, and Canadian Reiki Master, Rick Rivard.

James Deacon's Reiki Pages
Described by James as "My Ongoing Research into the Origins, History & Evolution of the Japanese Method of Spiritual & Therapeutic Energy-work known as Reiki", the site has an amazing collection of interesting and obscure information about Reiki and related subjects.
