At Reiki Evolution we routinely ask our students to let us have their feedback about the training and support that they receive. We have set ourselves high standards and want to make sure that our students are happy with their training, and soliciting feedback is a good way of making sure that we are on track. "I think the course was excellent value for money. The study pack was interesting and easy to follow. The actual day of the course was truly amazing for me. There was so much more tingling and heat in my hands than ever before.
I enjoyed giving a treatment on the day and the feedback was wonderful. I was so happy! I did a treatment on my partner a few days later and I oculd feel he had a headack, just above his right eye. He told me afterwards he had been suffering with a headache all day. I could feel a pain in the palm of my hand when I held it above his eye. I'm very much looking forwardg to giving more treatments. "I arrived for the Reiki 2 course a little worried that I had not 'absorbed' enough of the information from the manual - what with only 2 weeks to read/re-read and learn the symbols and add to that everytime I tried to listen to the CD, Taggart's soothing voice would have me asleep within 20 minutes! (I had no reason to have worried -- it all came to me when needed!).
The day was amazing. We could really feel and work with the energy during the energy exercises and although doubtful that reiji-ho was going to work for me - it did!
The Study pack, and day course were excellent value for money - refreshments provided were much nicer than expected. I have felt much more relaxed / a lot less stressed since the day of the course and I have been carrying out some distant healing with some success. Thank you Irene for a wonderful experience."

"The materials in the study pack (CD and Manual) were of a very high standard. The teachings were well set out, clear and concise, yet comprehensive. I was most impressed studying at home before the actualy teaching day is a great idea. This gives more time to assimilate the material, particularly the symbols which removes the pressure of having to learn them on the day. I enjoyed the practical teachings on the day. The day was well paced and although quite intensive, was engaging, satisfying and inspiring. The quality of the teaching was excellent. "I would like to start with thanking you for a wonderful day. I really enjoyed it! I liked that it was a small, friendly group with more one to one teaching. The Manual was easy to read and I found the practical exercises easy and enjoyable. My experiences on the course were:- well, felt like I could have gone to sleep for most of the day! Very relaxing.
The empowerments were quite different from the first degree course. I saw all sorts of colours this time, ranging from blue, green,yellow and felt a lot taking place in my crown area, mostly tingling and some pressure.
I have noticed in the last few weeks that I'm feeling a lot better in myself, have more energy, and just a better sense of well being. I love using the symbols and find that they make a lot of difference when treating myself and others. I can't wait to do my Master's Degree!!

"I found the course and all its contents a source of peace, interest and of very great personal value. I do have difficulties in letting go generally and Reiki is very helpful and will help to restore me to my usual energy level, which, given comfortable circumstances, is relatively high. It is also most useful in confidence-building.
A major bonus too is the opportuity to meet like-minded people who are true to themselves and to the spirit of life. As for value for money - expensive initally, but since there will be long-lasting effects, much cheaper than a couple of nights out!

"Excellent course (Reiki Deepening Course). I really benefited from the Hara Defining exercise and the CKR and SHK exercises prior to the day. I found meditating on the CKR/Earth Ki created a protective shell around me whilst centring me and the SHK filled the shell with light and positive energy. Following those exercises with the Hara defining exercise pulled my energy back to my centre even more and brought in a lot more positive energy. I could feel the energy moving out from my tanden in waves following this exercise, but I needed to stop the Hara exercise once I felt centred and 'ok' otherwise I felt as if I was buzzing.
On the day, the second Reiju Empowerment was unbelievably powerful, especially after the empowerment for about 30 mins. I had no idea where I was afterwards and was amazed that I had stayed sat up on my chair. I really enjoyed the Frequency Scale meditation. I found that my Earth Ki was quite dense at the beginning and after the second time of going up the scale I found that the heavenly Ki was moving down into my Earth Ki and raising its vibration. That was also quite amazing.
I am also amazed to say I enjoyed the chanting. It is very powerful and I could feel the two energies differently - earth and heaven and enjoy them both. I have since started to mentally chant one of the energies - which ever comes to mind at the time when I feel angry and it disperses the anger. Monday it was SHK energy kotodama that dispersed the anger and today - Tuesday it was the CKR Kotodama. Immediately following the course I was very negative - irritated and depressed and angry but on Monday, this had gone. At the moment I am fluctuating, but I have more energy. I have practiced HTSR, Self treatment and asked for the Reiju empowerment, chanted the CKR and SHK and HSZSN kotodama and done the Hara defining exercises, which all sound a lot but I wanted to see how the energies felt and I have a much stronger connection to Reiki. I am really pleased I did the course.
I also found mentally chanting the CKR and SHK Kotodama, whilst giving a treatment on the day, very powerful.
There was, I thought, a lot of info and techniques to take in on the day, although it is helpful to have the manual and definitely a must to practice the exercises before the day. I felt that I seemed to learn a lot more on this course through the practical exercises. It made me realise that there is much more to Reiki than appear on levels 1 and 2.
I also became aware of how powerful the Reiki energy is, after the second Rejiu Empowerment.
I am really pleased that I did this course. I definitely have a much stronger connection to Reiki. I have had a lot of Reiju empowerments over the past 2 years but Sundays' second Reiju was incredible and I feel as if I had gone up a level. I feel motivated to make the meditations part of my weekly routine and feel a lot happier about doing the Reiki Masters, although I will work with the new mediations for a while.

"Before enrolling onto the Reiki First Degree Course, I had no real concept of what Reiki was, as I had never had a treatment. I had heard positive things about it, and having been through a traumatic pregnancy I was advised to Reiki would help me find balance.
The course was brilliant, and the course material was thorough and helpful. the group was small and we were almost immediately comfortable with each other, the energy is intense, and I felt a strong connnection with everybody involved.
As soon as we began the energy exercises the energy in the room intensified and we were all very focussed. By the time we gave and received a full Reiki treatment I was walking on air. I literally felt a change in myself which has since hleped me claify issues in my life which before I had been struggling with.
Irene is a fantastic inspiration, with a warm, friendly spirit and a true passion for Reiki. Although I experienced many things during the day, heat, tinglings etc, the main thing I took away was that learning Reiki is a significant experience; wonderful, enlightening, calming and fulfilling. "Pre-work course materials was excellent - just about the right amount of material for me to get through and with enough time to prepare properly (ie 3 weeks). The course itself on the day was excellent - and I was just delighted that I was able to participate and helpfully make a reasonable fist of it! I think 4 people was bout right --enough to build a group spirit, but not too big for the shop, or the space.
I liked the balance between empowerments, discussion and practical opportunity. The challenge, inevitably for me will be to carry on practicing. It's difficult for me to make the Reiki shares as I am usually in London on Mondays, so some sort of 'refresher' or something might be a good idea. But, I loved it!"

"The course content and structure was good - just as I had expected. I was drawn to this course as it has most of original roots compared to others I've seen. I feel that the price reflects this. Courses I found vary from 70 -150.00 and feel that it was good-value for money was achieved. I don't mind paying for something I believe is right. "When I decided to do the Reiki 1st Degree I wasn't aware of what it was all about. I knew that it was healing and I thought that it would be good because I have two young girls, so my main reason for doing it would be that it would be beneficial for my family.
On the day of getting my empowerments I was quite nervous at the fact that I didn't think I had absorbed as much info out of the manual as I thought I would have needed, but I shouldn't have worried at all because Irene put us all at ease immediately and I could sense everything would just fall into place.

"I was very happy with the quality of the course manual and the CD. I especially liked the details about setting up your own Reiki practice as I thought they were very helpful. I attended the live 1 day course with Irene Forsyth in York. I found it quite intense, with lots to pack in, but run in a friendly and professional manner. I think Irene is an excellent and approachable teacher who is very experienced in the Reiki field and is very caring of her students.
I have found the Reiki Evolution training both in First and Second Degrees, to be excellent in all aspects, and I like the fact that if I need follow-up help or have any questions or concerns, I can still contact both teachers at any time. As such, it feels like I have joined a 'Reiki Family'!"

The information in the manual and on the CD were so well thought out and presented in a way that could be easily absorbed. The DVD of the Western attunement and Reiju were incredibly helpful and clarified a couple of things that I was unsure of when I read the manual. You have really got everything spot on!
My live course was just as exciting. Irene presented the course beautifully. The small group made it easy for us to share our experiences of working with the energies and meditations. Prior to the course I was a little apprehensive about the kotodama (singing in front of a group was never my idea of fun), however I found that I lost myself within the vibration of the energy of each of the kotodama and I loved it.

"What can I say other than FANTASTIC! Irene was brilliant, the experience has been incredible. So far! I'm not usually one to show such exuberance (didn't even know i could spell it) but this is truly how I feel.
I have had some incredible results, just with practicing on friends and family, this last week. One arthritic friend of mine is literally running around. When I had got down to her ankles, she felt a surge of pain run slowly up her leg to her knee (which is where she has the most pain) and up through her hip and out. She said it was very painful but she knew that it wasn't making her wince as it usually would. Her hips have been painful for a long time, because of the way she has over-compensated for her knees and ankles. She now has no pain in her hips at all! She's still feeling some pain in her knee and her ankles are almost pain free. I will give her a full six weeks of treatments and let you know the outcome. watch this space.
When i was treating my friend above, I felt an incredible surge of energy running through my arms and body when I was treating her knee. I stayed there for longer, until I felt it subside.
My partner has distheamia (double depression & one of the reasons that I have looked to Reiki) again incredible results. He says that his head/thoughts have been affected. But I can see, almost a new, cheerful person popping out every now & then.
I feel a lot better in myself too. I needed to. I am definitely at the start of very spiritual path."
