"My teacher Linda instantly made me feel at ease, she was very warm and understanding. The course content was detailed but relaxed. After settling in and introducing ourselves I received my first empowerment. I experienced calming colours and a reel feeling of peace. I experienced giving a treatment, Linda said I moved around the table very calmly which was good and I was quite pleased with myself as I actually felt very nervous. The recipient also said immediately after the treatment that it was lovely. I then received a treatment myself which again left me feeling deeply relaxed.
As the day went on we worked with energy, talked about what I had learned from reading the manual & listening to the cd's. We discussed the Reiki Lineages and various stages of Reiki as well as receiving other empowerments.
I was surprised at how quickly the day went by. I can honestly say that it left me with a feeling of relaxation and peace and hungry to 'get started' and learn more. When I got home my husband asked me how it had gone and I answered honestly that I had had really nice day.

"The manual: Excellent reference. Very informative and easy to understand. Both CD's: Also excellent. Hatsu Rei and self treatment used daily. I initially found the 'music' rather strange but now enjoy it and find it useful.
The 'practical' day with Linda: Excellent. Linda gave us all a very warm welcome, lots of encouragement and showed great patience. A very pleasant experience. Difficult to see how the whole Shoden experience could be improved.

"I completed my Reiki second degree course with Linda Vickers and as I wanted to complete the course ASAP so to speak I asked if she could do a one off course for me which she obligingly agreed too. I received both First and Second Degree materials from you and must admit that I have not done so much crash reading since I was at college many moons ago.
Your literature, as I mentioned to Linda, really opened my eyes, having previously completed my First Degree with another Master but once completed really did not feel competent so have spent the last three years reading books on Reiki, surfing the web and buying CD’s and I must admit having spent 12 months doing this I was very knowledgeable but was more than confused, that was until I came across your website and hence if you can remember I sent you and email asking for help in getting a course in my area, so bringing me back to Linda.
What can I say, along with the extent of knowledge I had gained from your literature and the way I was received by Linda into her home I felt more than prepared for my new experiences, Linda was very professional and put me at ease as soon as I arrived, this is a must when working with people (I run my own Health and Training Company with my wife Chris and candidate reassurance is one of our main aims).
The day went very smoothly and we went through a number of exercises during the day, we even covered things I should have done in my initial First Degree, Linda even arranged for one of her students to attend to work with me, we worked with the symbols in various ways and I really started to feel the difference between them, I did a distant healing with the other student who was in another room and I was so surprised when I started to feel a very warm feeling in the region of my back, it then became my turn and I did not expect anything to happen because I messed up the drawing of the symbol. Linda told me that the intent was there and it had worked which was proven when the other student came back into the room and described what she had felt.
We worked again on the experience of the two energies Earth and Heaven whilst carrying out a full treatment, again a very powerful experience for me. Over all I thought the course was well worth the money both Theoretical and practical and now look forward to my first full treatment tomorrow morning as a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner and I look forward to putting my new skills into practice.
