Reiki Evolution have a team of experienced and supportive Reiki teachers who host small Reiki courses from various venues in the UK, more than two dozen Reiki teachers who’re all working with the original system of Japanese Reiki that was taught by Mikao Usui, Reiki’s founder. For Reiki training in Yorkshire, we have three teachers currently:

Hello, I am Martine Moorby. I was born and grew up in France, but my love for the English language brought me over to the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. I eventually settled here and live in Harrogate in beautiful North Yorkshire, with my husband. We have two grown-up daughters. I have been teaching Harrogate Reiki training courses since 2001 and I joined Taggart’s Team at Reiki Evolution in 2006.
I have always enjoyed teaching, taught French and headed a Modern Languages Department for many years before Reiki healing assisted an unplanned change of direction! Passionate about the potential we all have for living rewarding and authentic lives, I have continued to develop myself and help others do the same. I am also an EFT practitioner and trainer, and in 2010 I started teaching Spiritual Practice courses in various forms, as a Spiritual Companions Educator.
I love nature, landscape, my garden, reading, teaching, meditating, energy medicine and all sorts of mundane things too!

Huddersfield, West Yorkshire Reiki courses
I’ve been teaching Reiki training courses in Huddersfield, West Yorkshiresince 2008 and was delighted to join the Reiki Evolution team in 2011.
As well as teaching all levels of Reiki healing, I also teach meditation for health and wellbeing and together with my husband I teach spiritual and intuitive development as well as being a paranormal investigator.
In my spare time I enjoy Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and walking; I’m a keen gardener, love mountain biking and generally being out and about in nature. I never cease to be delighted by the life changing effects of Reiki both in my own life and those of my students.
