Cathy Birkinhead, Reiki Master Teacher
Catherine joined the Reiki Evolution team in 2011, and has followed a path of energy work for the last 20 years. She teaches Reiki and Reiki Drum courses in Bucks/Bedfordshire from her base in Eaton Bray Dunstable. As well as being an experienced Reiki & Reiki Drum Master Teacher she is also an accomplished Tai Chi Instructor/Practitioner, winning several gold-medals at National and European Championships between 2013 and 2018. She regularly teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes in the Herts and Bucks area as well as periodically guest teaching at national and international events and judging at national competitions.
Her teaching work includes collaborations with a local Buddhist meditation retreat centre, Keech Hospice Care Luton & Hospice of St Francis Berkhamsted, Bucks Carers, Bucks council, Milton Keynes college, RAF Halton & Chilterns Open Air Museum to name a few. Cathy loves to travel and In September 2013 she enjoyed completing a Charity Trek of the Great Wall of China, raising money for 6 charities close to her heart. It was an amazing experience that will be unforgettable. She also enjoyed a memorable trip to Japan in 2019 travelling around parts of the ancient 88 temple pilgrimage route on Shikoku island and visiting many historic Zen Buddhist Temples on the mainland.
In more recent years Cathy has overcome the challenges of breast cancer and believes that many years of holistic practices including Reiki have been hugely beneficial for her recovery.
She enjoys sharing her passions through teaching and empowering others, as her passions are her work and very much part of everyday life.

Using your data
When you enrol on a course with Reiki Evolution using the payment button above, PayPal will send us your contact details (name, e-mail address, postal address) and we will ask you for your telephone number. We need to store and use this data to deal with your enrolment: we need to know where to post your certificate and we need to send your details to the Reiki teacher so that they know who you are and when you are booked to attend, and so they can contact you to introduce themselves, and in extreme circumstances they might need to call you to cancel a course at the last minute (though this hardly ever happens). We also need to keep your details for tax purposes and to maintain a list of former students so that we can issue replacement certificates in the future, if a student’s certificate was lost or damaged.
