Faiy Rushton joined the Reiki Evolution team in 2011. She runs Rutland Reiki training courses, is a qualified teacher and has taught wellbeing in schools for a number of years. It was her Reiki training and practice that stimulated her interest in mindfulness as a formal practice. In the last few years she has trained as a secular mindfulness teacher with Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice and is on their Teacher Training Pathway; teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to the general public. She also delivers work based mindfulness courses in various settings; including to civil servants, teachers and the police. She has trained to teach mindfulness to children through the Mindfulness in Schools Project and works for them as a trainer on the Foundations and Paws courses.
Faiy is also a qualified complementary health therapist; she is an aromatherapist, reflexologist, massage therapist, meditation teacher and EFT practitioner and she enjoys combining the strategies and techniques she can offer to meet the wellbeing needs of the people she works with.
