Podcast: Release anger and worry

In all Reiki lineages, the first three precepts are shown as, “Just for today, do not anger, do not worry”, and they are a really important part of Reiki practice. Learning to fully embody these simple Reiki principles has the potential to really transform people’s lives and it’s very much a work-in-progress where, by reminding ourselves of these Reiki principles regularly, we gradually mould our behaviour and experience the personal benefits that come through engaging fully with the moment, experiencing humility, compassion and forgiveness.

In this podcast I am just dealing with “do not anger, do not worry” and I have developed a way of using Reiki as a ‘carrier’, to allow Reiki people to release their anger and their worry in an ‘energetic form’, by using the guided meditation that you can hear on this podcast. Why not use this brief meditation, this “releasing exercise”, every day to release any residual anger or worry from your system, and give yourself a good spring clean!

  1. “Hi Tagart
Loved the meditation- nearly went to sleep. I’d certainly suggest this to all my Reiki friends and clients”!!

  2. Hi Taggart
Such an effective meditation! So much can be achieved in a short space of time. I would thoroughly recommend you do this daily to restore perspective and balance

  3. I’m very pleased that you like it. I just has a look at the stats and it seems that so far 239 people have downloaded the podcast, which is quite cool. I have just upgraded my podcasting ‘kit’ and I am now the proud owner of what I believe is the most wonderful podcast-quality usb mic in the whole wide world (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Microphones-Yeti-USB-Microphone/dp/B002VA464S), so future podcasts will be better quality.

I love the way that you can feel that flutter of energy as the Reiki carries those emotions out of you, briskly to begin with and then getting gentler with each breath. It’s lovely to carry out every day and doesn’t take long.

  4. Enjoyed that Taggart. I meditate daily but it was nice to be ‘led’ in a mediatation, made a nice change for me and I felt very relaxed. Love the colours also when I opened my eyes. I had been stressing about a pile of paperwork and emails which I was wading through but now I do not care and I will relax even more with a good book. Look forward to more of these.

  5. Good morning Taggart,
Thank you for this meditation. I have tried it several times but this morning used it just before Hatsurei. Remarkable difference. Hatsurei was very powerful. The feeling of oneness was beautiful and the energy flowed with a quite different feeling. It was as though the anger and worry release had cleared my system and my ego was well and truly out of the way, leaving much more room for the energy to let me experience the oneness and the power of the energy.
    Blessings and many thanks
    Lesley
